Villagers went to the forest to save a wild lynx caught in a steel noose. Thankfully, they succeeded in the task

We are used to the fact that wild animals can take care of themselves. However, due to their activities, people often endanger animals.

So, a lynx living in the forests near Vilnius fell into a steel trap set by poachers. She couldn’t get out on her own. On the contrary, each movement only tightened the noose around her neck more tightly. With such a collar, the animal would not live long.

The inhabitants of a neighboring village learned about the lynx in trouble. They decided to release the wild cat. When the beast saw the approaching people, she considered that she was in danger.

Therefore, the lynx began to show signs of aggression. Despite the fact that she was powerless, the wild cat was ready to rush into battle.

The trap was strong and flexible. While some men pressed the animal to the ground with horns, others removed the trap from the neck.

The animal turned out to be so strong by the fact that only five adult men could press it to the ground with horns.

Twenty minutes later the beast was free. But for another ten minutes, the lynx simply lay exhausted on the ground. She could be heard breathing heavily. Gathering her strength, she stood up on all fours and silently left the ill-fated place.
