Surprisingly, the eleven years old dog named Rex and the goose Geraldin became friends the same day the bird was brought to the center.

The staff of the center was very worried about the bird since they knew firsthand about the bad character of the dog, which no one could cope with.

However, surprisingly to everyone, Rex did not just attack the goose, he began to show the warmest feelings for her. And Geraldin herself immediately became attached to the giant dog.

As the owners of the shelter admit, the impression is that these two have known each other for many years.

Friendship with Geraldin “saved” the german shepherd from euthanasia, because, before this meeting with the goose, Rex rushed at everyone who tried to approach him, except for Vera, a German shepherd, that was previously his girlfriend.

According to the employees of the shelter, Geraldin is really jealous of Rex: when Vera gets too close to Rex, the bird instantly begins to drive Vera away and hisses at her.

How long this friendship will last, no one knows, but everybody really hopes that Rex will remain such a kind and sweet doggie, as long as Geraldin is with him, according to the British Daily Mail.
