Have you ever imagined adopting a kitten that would one day turn into a wild animal? Maybe a hard task to think about.
Which of us at least once in childhood did not drag home a homeless kitten from the street? So our heroine had the same story.
Once, while walking, she heard a plaintive squeak. Not far from the road, she found a helpless kitten.
At first she tried to find his mother, but when that failed, she decided to take him home. When the kitten grew up, she took him to the vet. How surprised she was to learn that her pet was not a cat at all, but a jaguarundi cub.
When the animal grew up, it could be very dangerous to keep at home.
”I had to give it to a special nursery, where the animals are kept in conditions as close as possible to the wild,” says the woman.
When the baby becomes bigger, he will be released into the wild.
For now, the jaguarundi cub is safe and feels the happiest in the house with his human. He eats well, plays in the yard and learns what it means to be a cub of a unique cat.
