The woman was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome. Therefore, before the birth of her two boys, she specifically took fertility drugs and stimulants.
Despite all the difficulties, the couple passionately dreamed of a girl, so they decided to start this cycle again.
What was their surprise when, even before therapy started, Megan discovered that she was pregnant.
– I started to feel strange, but I couldn’t even imagine that I was pregnant, because I had never ovulated naturally before.
However, the tests showed that I would have a little one, which in itself was a surprise, but even more than that my husband and I were surprised by the ultrasound results, which showed that we would be having quintuplets – nothing cannot prepare for that,” she admitted.
The woman admitted that she didn’t even go straight home after being shocked and cried for an hour in her office.
But then she pulled herself together and decided to stay calm for the health of her unborn cubs. Megan admits that this pregnancy has been a time of many discoveries for her.
She didn’t expect there to be such a big difference between wearing one and five, her belly quickly became so huge that she couldn’t even vacuum the carpet or put on makeup.
Even half an hour was too long to stand! she says. At the same time, the birth was easy and quick, which also surprised the young mother.
This happened at 32 weeks because the pups were kept in the intensive care unit for 3 weeks to get stronger.
Now the whole family is already at home and adjusting to a new life because feeding five little ones takes up to 3 hours.
