A wildlife photographer has lately taken photos of a very lovely baby lion that is white-colored. At first, he thought the cub is an albino but then it turned out that the cub has a leucism.
In the case of this rare genetic condition, both humans and animals have a partial loss of pigmentation. So the one who has leucism, his eyes are not red.
When the photographer saw the rare lion cub playing with his siblings, he slowly took his camera and started making these absolutely lovely photos.
Even though the family of lions now accepts the white cub, we can’t be sure what will happen to him when growing older.
Predators are aware of the leucistic animals and often chase them. Also, the family may abandon the cub because of his different appearance.
For now, the little cat enjoys his life, playing with the other fluffy siblings. We are hopeful that he will always be loved by his family!
