Not only people suffer from war but also animals. But if people can somehow escape from the city engulfed in war then the animals are doomed.
A man named Mohammed Ala Jalil lives in the Syrian city of Aleppo, destroyed by the civil war. He is engaged in rescuing cats and sometimes dogs.
“Feline man”, as the locals call him, has given shelter to hundreds of pets. Risking his life under shelling, Jalil collects lost cats on the streets of Aleppo.
Once, Mohammed took the pregnant dog Amira to his shelter. To separate her from the cats, the man built an enclosure for her. Unfortunately, all Amira’s puppies were born dead.
The dog became depressed. To somehow brighten up her sadness, Jalil gave her a teddy bear.
The unhappy mother often hugged the toy. Once grieving Amira saw a little kitten named Junior. The kid was an orphan. Perhaps that is why he was able to understand all the grief that Amira experienced.
A little afraid of the big dog, Junior cautiously made his way to her enclosure. The kid plucked up courage and rubbed against her face.
The dog did not drive the kitten away. On the contrary, she licked Junior. Thus began their strong friendship. Time passed and Amira forgot about the teddy bear. She no longer needed him.
Now she had an adopted son, whom she began to take care of. From now on, they do everything together: they sleep, eat, and play.
The mother-dog allows the kitten-son to climb on her back. Both seem very happy to be together.
We really want this unusual family to do well. And so that the war in their hometown ends as soon as possible.
