Henry and Baloo are a dog and a cat that have become best friends and now travel with their owners through the mountains of Colorado. And their over one and a half million audience follows their adventures on Instagram.
Cynthia Bennett and Andre Sibilsky, a couple from Boston (USA), first sheltered a stray puppy, and then they adopted a lonely kitten into their house.
In one of the shelters, they saw a mongrel puppy. “Henry was twice the size of the rest of the puppies, although they were all the same age.
Looking at it, it was impossible to tell right away how many breeds were mixed in it: a German shepherd, a Staffordshire terrier, a husky, and maybe a boxer,” recalls Cynthia.
“But he was very nice. As soon as I went into the pen to get a better look, he crawled onto my knees and lay down there,” Cynthia smiles. “We immediately fell in love with him. This is how Henry became another member of the traveling family.”
“I started posting photos of Henry on social networks, and then, on reflection, I decided to create his own account. Within three years, the number of followers has grown to 30 thousand. But when we got Baloo, the number skyrocketed.”
“The thing is that Henry couldn’t endure separation from us when we left home. He did not eat or drink. Therefore, we decided that he needed a friend who would always be by his side. We started our search …
“Little Baloo immediately clung to Henry. I think that he perceives him as his mother,” says Cynthia.
