American married couple Rachel Zardus and Andrew Taylor found a little ginger kitten at a gas station two years ago. At first, they thought of giving him to an orphanage, but then they became so attached to him that they decided to keep the cat.
He was nicknamed Carrot. According to his owners, the pet is very sociable and playful.
The cat has its own Instagram account. Carrot has more than eight thousand followers. True, his page is closed to users who do not follow him. But recently, he became a star of the Internet thanks to one photo.
The picture shows a refrigerator and a sticky note with the words “Check for cat arm before closing.” Did you see Carrot’s paw? It’s between the fridge and the door.
The photo became popular on the social platform Reddit. Many users wrote that they themselves encountered a similar problem. Their mustachioed pets are also constantly trying to steal something from the refrigerator.
The couple says that Carrot thinks this is such a game. Every time one of them opens the refrigerator, the cat tries to get through the gap to their hand.
Andrew says that he and his wife are very attentive. Therefore, Carrot has never been pinched. The photo, according to the owners of the cat, is not staged.
They just managed to take a picture of the pet’s paw before he pulls it out of the gap.
