These photos became incredibly popular in a short time, first in China and then all over the world. What is so amazing about them that brought this cat popularity?
This is Ba Dun – a Munchkin cat. Even if you have not met the representatives of the munchkins personally, you probably saw them in the photographs: the legs of such cats are several times shorter than those that we are used to seeing, so the animals look very unusual.
Even by feline standards, Ba Dun is a baby: the cat is barely a year old. But he eats for an adult cat, and maybe even for several: it was not in vain that the owner gave him the nickname, which translates as “Eight meals.” Ba Dun is also very affectionate.
Hugging with the owner is a favorite thing for him. After eating, of course.
Let’s go back to what brought our hero to the pinnacle of popularity. It’s simple: one fine morning, Ba Dun did not want to part with his student owner, who was in a hurry for classes.
So he grabbed her hand and refused to leave it despite any persuasion. She had to give in to the cat, but with one condition: no one should notice such a malicious intruder in the classroom. And Ba Dun did it!
He sat through all the classes without making a sound and did not betray his presence either to other students or to the teacher. For discipline, Ba Dun definitely gets the highest score!
