Second-hand, a backpack, and… a real find!
A few days ago, I bought a cheap backpack at a second-hand store. 😉 Just like that, with no big expectations — for walks, everyday use. But when I brought it home and decided to look inside… Believe me, my jaw dropped in surprise. 🤯
At first, I thought it was just a forgotten lining. Then I saw a hidden zippered pocket. I open it… and I can’t believe my eyes… 👇

Inside was a small neat bundle of bills tied with a rubber band.
Yes, real money! Not fake, not souvenir, but quite real.
I counted — in total a little over 500 dollars. A million thoughts in my head: how? why? who forgot this? Why did no one notice?
The backpack itself cost me less than 10 dollars and had no special marks. The brand isn’t very well known but looks good quality.
It feels like someone purposely hid the money and then forgot about it.
Now, of course, the dilemma — keep it, look for the owner, write to the store… But one thing I can say for sure: I will never say again that you can’t find “treasures” in second-hand stores. Sometimes you can, and what treasures!
If I hadn’t opened that inner pocket, I would never have known what “treasure” I was carrying.
And now every time I take that backpack, it reminds me that life can surprise you even on the most ordinary days.
I wonder if it’s just a coincidence… or someone’s very subtle prank?
