Since our budget was tight, we had to be strategic with our choice. The apartment, previously owned by an elderly person, was far from appealing.
However, instead of letting its outdated condition discourage us, we rolled up our sleeves and got to work.
At first, we consulted an interior designer, but surprisingly, the process was quicker than expected. The final outcome exceeded all our hopes, leaving us thrilled.
Starting with the entryway, we opted for a clean and modern color palette—white and gray—to create a bright, welcoming space. Every inch was carefully planned to maximize storage.
Moving on to the kitchen, we selected stylish light-toned tiles with a unique pattern. For those curious, the glass dining table and chairs were sourced from IKEA.
The living room boasts elegant parquet flooring and neutral gray walls. A sleek blue sofa—convertible into a bed—adds both style and function. A “floating” cabinet and shelf complete the space, adding a contemporary touch.
The bedroom is equally impressive, featuring a luxurious queen-sized bed with coordinating bedside tables. The navy-blue walls bring a sense of calm, complemented by a matching painting that enhances the ambiance.
For the children’s room, we designed a cozy yet practical space. The bed sits on the right side, while a small, well-lit study area encourages productivity.
Large windows flood the room with natural daylight, making it feel even more spacious.
The most impressive transformation, however, is the bathroom. Every element was carefully chosen to reflect a sleek, minimalist aesthetic with a modern twist. The result? A space that is both functional and visually stunning.
What was once an overlooked, outdated apartment is now a stylish and comfortable home. Our risk paid off, proving that with vision and determination, anything is possible!
