On the American coast of the Atlantic Ocean, 56-year-old Michael Packard recently had an incredible incident.
Together with his partner, Michael they went to catch lobsters.
The partner stayed on the ship, and Michael began to dive to the fishing spot. Suddenly he felt a powerful blow and immediately found himself in a huge mouth. Shackled with horror, the man had already said goodbye to life.
After all, he thought he was in the mouth of a fierce predator, a great white man-eating shark.
But after a couple of minutes, Michael realized that this was probably not a shark: there were no teeth in the mouth, and he had no wounds on his body. The diver cheered up, suspecting that he was inside a huge whale.
And then he began incredibly actively to look for a way out. The man’s actions turned out to be correct: the whale, experiencing discomfort, immediately rose to the surface and tried to free itself from the irritant.
Michael literally flew out of the huge animal, and this scene was watched by the diver’s partner. He helped Michael to get on the ship and asked for help by radio.
Rescuers arrived very quickly and took the victim to the hospital.
Michael Packard spent less than a minute inside the whale. He did not receive any serious injuries, apart from a dislocated knee. A few hours after the medical examination, the lucky man returned home.
