Supatra’s story is remarkable. She was recognized in the Guinness Book of Records as the hairiest teenager based on estimates from 2010.
Despite trying various methods to cope with her extreme hairiness, nothing seemed effective. Her face was covered in hair, and this presented daily challenges that were hard to overcome.
What truly set Supatra apart was the unwavering support from her family and friends. They stood by her during tough times, encouraging her to embrace her uniqueness.
Unfortunately, Supatra suffers from Ambras Syndrome, a rare and incurable condition that affects only about 50 people worldwide.
In an attempt to manage her condition, Supatra underwent laser treatment. However, instead of solving her hair issues, the treatment resulted in darker and thicker hair.
This setback didn’t deter her; she eventually learned to accept herself and not let her condition define her life.
Now at 19 years old, Supatra is in a loving relationship with a partner who appreciates her for who she is, without any comparisons.
