Its glossy finish had darkened, the gold details were worn off, and the whole appearance felt dull.
The restoration began with a thorough sanding of the old surface. The old varnish and dark stains were removed.
Then a new paint was chosen — a warm terracotta tone that immediately gave the piece a cozy yet modern vibe.
The legs were refreshed, partially keeping golden accents to maintain a link with the original style.
Special care was given to the decor: the hardware was replaced, and accessories in natural tones were added — dried flowers in a woven basket, a handmade wall panel, and a vintage glass jar.
All of this gave it a complete new look, transforming a simple nightstand into a true bedroom centerpiece.
Now it’s hard to believe this was once a forgotten item.
