I work as a nurse, and on the eve of Halloween, after a 12-hour shift, I came home completely exhausted.
In the yard, I noticed that the landlord’s truck had once again blocked our driveway. It was almost midnight, and I had to park in the only available spot — right in front of my neighbor’s house.
The next morning I went outside and froze: my car was covered in eggs — yolks were dripping down the windshield, and shells were scattered across the hood. My attention was caught by a strange trail of eggshells leading straight to my neighbor’s door.
I knocked. He opened the door with a smug smile.
— Did you do this to my car? — I asked.
He shrugged:
— Yeah. You parked in front of my house. You’re blocking my Halloween decorations.
