It all started when I noticed this strange object standing directly under my desk. Its shape was unremarkable, and the holes seemed too symmetrical for an ordinary object.
I inspected it carefully, trying to find any clues as to what it could be. Immediately, the thought crossed my mind that it could be a listening device someone had hidden in the office.
Thinking I might be under surveillance, I decided to conduct a small investigation. First, I tried to bring it closer to the computer to check for any wires or technological elements.
But I found nothing suspicious. Then I began to examine the object more closely and discovered a strange inscription I hadn’t noticed before. And that’s when I realized: it was a cockroach trap!
Finally, my mind calmed down, and I realized I had developed paranoia from the exhaustion after the vacation. This object turned out to be a simple trap that had been forgotten in the corner of the office.
