This kitchen tool was popular in the 1920s. It was used to neatly slice grapefruit into segments and remove the center effortlessly.
The blades are still sharp and fully functional ā I even tested it on an orange.
It works perfectly! When folded, it’s compact ā just 4.5 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and deep. Imagine how many generations have used it.
Now itās become the crown jewel of my little vintage utensil collection. I never wouldāve guessed such an unassuming item could have such a fascinating history!
