In his country, he faces judgment on the streets, issues with documents, and once even a priest tried to “cast out the devil” supposedly living in his body.
But that didn’t break him, because where people see ugliness and fear, he sees beauty and uniqueness.
😲😵But what would he look like without tattoos? Let’s find out in the first comment.👇👇
For several years, Didi has been completely immersed in tattoo culture.
He spent over 200 hours and more than 26,000 dollars to cover more than 70% of his body with artwork, each one telling a story of his struggle, dreams, and personal freedom.
Tattoos helped him get through periods of depression, becoming his “shield” and at the same time a way to communicate with the world.
But life in the Philippines, an ultraconservative Catholic country, was not easy.
He faced judgment on the streets, issues with documentation, and even an exorcism on a public bus when a priest tried to “cast out the devil” supposedly living in his body.
These situations could have broken anyone, but Didi kept walking his own path.
Today, he’s not just a fan of tattoo culture — Didi has become a symbol of courage and self-expression.
He defends people’s right to be themselves, fights against prejudice, and inspires young Filipinos to follow their dreams despite criticism.
“Living with tattoos in the Philippines is a constant struggle. People often associate ink with prison and drugs. But the world is changing. I know a few modified guys who’ve built successful careers, and things are slowly becoming more tolerant,” says Didi.
But let’s see what he would look like without his tattoos. We removed his tattoos using artificial intelligence — and here’s how he looks.
