Dad Transforms a Tiny 11m² Studio into a Dream Home for His Daughter

This compact studio was originally just a single room in an old communal apartment. The building itself dates all the way back to 1836!
Years ago, my dad used to live here, but he moved out, leaving the space abandoned for a long time. Now, it was time for a fresh start!
Since my school is right next to this place, my father decided to renovate it and give it a completely new life.
A second level already existed, but it was poorly designed, blocking part of the window. The new layout fixed this issue and made much better use of the space.
A small bathroom was added to the left of the entrance, and since a kitchen was located right behind the wall, connecting the plumbing was easy.
The entrance area now looks bright and open. Light-colored walls and classic laminate flooring create a spacious feel.
A large mirror was placed on the right, while a compact shoe rack and coat hooks were installed opposite it for convenience.
Before the renovation, there was no kitchen at all. A brand-new kitchenette was custom-built to maximize every inch of space. White cabinets and green rectangular tiles on the backsplash give it a fresh, modern look.
The staircase serves a dual purpose—it leads to the upper level while also doubling as a hidden storage system.
The second-floor sleeping area features a large two-person mattress, bedside shelves, soft lighting, and even a big-screen TV for ultimate comfort.
The bathroom may be tiny at just 1.4 square meters, but it has everything I need! It includes a toilet, a shower cabin, a compact sink, a comfortable shower, a mirror, and a thermostatic towel rack.
For the finishing touches, the wet areas were decorated with sleek white tiles, while the remaining walls were simply painted for a clean and stylish aesthetic.
This renovation turned an ordinary, forgotten room into a dream home, and I couldn’t be happier! 💖
