It all started when one day, my sister came home with an old piece of furniture she had found near the trash. Her idea was to give it a new life and use it in her own room.
At first, we were all quite skeptical, but after the metamorphosis, we were all blown away by the result! This once-abandoned piece had turned into an elegant item, worthy of a high-end furniture store.
The next day, she began the restoration work. The first step was to fix the small imperfections of the piece, filling in the cracks and erasing the scratches.
She then focused on the top of the dresser, giving it a brand-new, smooth, and refined look.
To add a touch of originality, she used a stencil to create a delicate and unique pattern, personalized for the piece.
She opted for a soothing and elegant lavender color, a shade that perfectly highlighted the wood structure. The color was carefully chosen to enhance the lines of the furniture and the restoration work.
