A Studio Transformed: Modern and Elegant!
✨ We bought a 35 m² studio for my mother and renovated it on a budget, but with maximum style. Check out the before-and-after pictures! 🎨📸
A Smartly Designed Living Space
A thoughtful son bought a small apartment for his mother in the neighboring building. As a woman with refined taste, she wanted a cozy and stylish home that met her expectations.
The apartment was in poor condition, requiring the removal of all old wall, ceiling, and floor coverings.
A Completely Renovated Kitchen
The biggest challenge? Removing the old oil-based paint from the ceiling! After several failed attempts, only special solvents could achieve a smooth finish.
Key Upgrades for a Modern Interior
The partition wall between the hallway and bedroom was replaced with a drywall structure featuring a built-in closet.
All installations were upgraded: electrical wiring, heating, doors, and plumbing were modernized.
A Harmonious and Stylish Bedroom
Walls and ceilings were carefully plastered and painted in a uniform color, including the ceiling moldings, to create a cohesive look.
For flooring, we chose:
✔️ Porcelain tiles for the kitchen and hallway
✔️ Parquet flooring for the living room
A Bright and Functional Interior
Unnecessary doors were removed to create an open and spacious feel. The decor features light tones and minimalist furniture, combining simplicity with functionality.
An Optimized Bathroom
In this type of building, the original bathroom was a small wooden-walled cabin. By removing these, we gained an extra 20 cm, allowing for the installation of a vanity with a 60 cm sink. The ceiling height was adjusted to 2.5 meters to match the rest of the apartment.
After the renovation, the bathroom became more spacious and modern.
A Balcony Turned into a Relaxation Spot
To maximize space, the balcony was enclosed with glass and furnished in the same style as the rest of the apartment, creating a perfect retreat for relaxation.
