Erin and Jake Herrin, inhabitants of Salt Lake City, Utah, were waiting for the birthing of their children.
When Kendra and Malaya were born on February 26, 2002, they revealed that they were connected at the abdomen, sharing essential organs, such as a colon, a liver, two legs, a single kidney.
However, the difficulty arose when Malaya needed a kidney transplant. Her mother wanted to devote her kidney to her girl.
Although the operation was successful, she required a second transplant, this time from the unfamiliar one.
Currently, they are 20 years old and are forever grateful to their parents for their devotion and care.
Malaya is fond of graphic design, she wants to study at the university, continuing her own way, and emphasizing the importance of loving your own individuality.
She always wants to achieve her dreams.
