A girl who swore not to marry, after when she was mocked due to her worst bite and was called horse face, is now happy after having a jaw operation.
Olivia Boardman had a difficult six-hour surgery, during that operation her upper and under jaws were brought forward.
She also rearranged her chin.
At the age of 29, she was mocked at school and university due to her jaw and big teeth, which resulted badly on her.
Her state became worse when she could not speak because of the biting affected on her airway.
She was from Manchester, made a decision to have $25,000 surgery, the half of the money was paid by her wellness coverage.
Her intervention was in September, Olivia was motivated, appreciating the positive sides of the intervention.
Although she had not seen the outcome of her change, but the mind that her look was altered made happier to her.
She was so joyful, she could breathe freely. She was impressed by her new look.
Someone called her model, but she did not think so, it was her wish. She should cure herself, but now she feels self-confident.
Olivia felt the drawback of her jaw, at school, when she was teased by her peers.
It stayed until at the age of 20 when she wanted an operation.
During growing up the speaking, eating became very hard. In January, her health state became worse due to misalignment, which could cause sleep apnea. She was operated on September 27.
Due to her problem, she could not speak and there was an ache in the jaw.
The operation was not for her look, but for her health.
She stayed two days in hospital, a moth for a fluid diet, and finally had her wish done.
But she realised that she had a long cure course until the ultimate outcome.
