The events of this story took place in the north-west of England, in Greater Manchester.
A 21-year-old single mother, Shauna Hughes, from the town of Rochdale, gave birth for the second time 15 months apart.
The young mother gave birth to the second set of twins. “I was so proud to see my four children,” Shauna said.
When she learned that she was going to give birth to second twins, she was blown away.
The young woman considered the birth of her little ones to be a miracle, because the doctors had evaluated her for endometriosis, which is a condition linked to infertility. Both couples were conceived naturally and are identical twins.
But the most surprising thing is that there is an incredible resemblance between the two couples. So, it looks like the new mom has identical quadruplets.
“Such a coincidence rarely happens,” said the charity Twins Trust. Fenton and Frankie are now one year and five months old, and little ones Lucas and Louis are two months old.
Shauna says she gets very little sleep, just two or three hours a day. And fortunately the grandparents of the little ones support her and come to help.
