I never suspected that my grandfather had such talent 😲… My grandfather bought a summer house in the suburbs and has been living there for several years 🏡. I had never been to his new home, so I finally decided to visit him 😊. You can’t imagine my surprise when I saw his garden, where he was creating things from a simple garden hose that looked like works of art😮👇
It turns out my grandfather had found old irrigation hoses and decided to give them a new life.
He started coiling them into spirals, making animal figures, floral patterns, and even benches. He secured everything with wire, nails, and hooks. These were simple materials, but the result was astonishing!
I walked through the garden, unable to hide my amazement. In one corner, he had made a green dragon out of hoses, from whose mouth water “flowed” as if watering the plants.
In another corner, there was an arch made of colorful hoses leading to a small fountain.
When I asked him where these ideas came from, he simply smiled: “I just wanted to create something with my hands. Silence, nature — and ideas come on their own.”
That visit changed my view of my grandfather. I returned home inspired, with the desire to create something extraordinary from simple things
