She hasn’t cut her hair since she was 13: now she’s 30 and here’s what she looks like
Imagine not cutting your hair for 17 years! 😱 That’s exactly what Ziba Kelly did. Starting at age 13, she vowed to never trim her hair again, inspired by the enchanting princesses in her favorite cartoons.Continue in the first comment👇
🧖♀️Now 30, Ziba’s hair has grown to an astonishing 182 centimeters — almost as tall as she is! 😲 Continue in the first comment👇
Ziba lives in a small town in Britain and is an aspiring singer who has caught the attention of thousands worldwide — not just for her voice but for her extraordinary long locks.
Her silky, thick, dark hair drapes down to the floor and seems to have a life of its own, no matter how she tries to style it.
Her parents have always supported her choice. Ziba’s mother became her hair-care partner, mastering homemade hair masks and intricate braiding techniques.
Occasionally, when split ends appeared, Ziba allowed a tiny trim of a couple of centimeters — but nothing more.
However, living with such long hair is no easy task. Washing it takes at least an hour and a half, and combing through those endless strands takes almost as long.
After washing, she carefully hangs her hair on a special hook to avoid tripping over it — like drying a towel!
The weight of wet hair is heavy, causing Ziba neck pain at first until her body adapted to the unusual burden.
Because of her hair, she avoids going out alone, stays away from crowds, and never uses escalators to prevent her hair from getting caught in the machinery — a potentially dangerous situation.
Despite the challenges, Ziba embraces her unique look and the magic that long hair brings to her identity. Would you dare to grow your hair this long?
