Meet Annegret Raunig, a 65-year-old German woman who recently had her quadruplets.
She is an English and Russian teacher at school and her whole life has been spent on bringing up and educating both her kids and her students.
She gave birth to the premature babies after 26 weeks, as the German TV channels reported.
So, 3 cute boys and a baby girl were born in April.
She managed to give birth to her babies after 20 years of menopause.
Medically, it was less possible to have a baby at that age without medical intervention.
It’s because, after 35 it’s risky to plan a baby for health.
As RTL reported, though the babies were expected to be born very early they were born in amazingly well condition and health.
So, the doctors only had to keep them in incubators until they would turn 38 weeks.
The woman stated that it was her youngest Lelia’s wish to have another sibling.
So the caring mom went to another country for implantation with an egg to be able to have one more kid.
Many specialists, politicians, and even religious characters criticized her action to have 4 more kids at that age.
However, she did not put their blame into consideration and made her personal decision on her own.
So, after the birth of the 4 wonderful kids, she became the oldest mom who gave birth in Germany.
