The story of a girl with silver eyes that no one wanted to adopt: wonderful story

A girl named Primrose was born in China. Her eyes were like pure silver. The girl suffered from congenital glaucoma, a rare condition that can lead to vision loss.

The girl’s mother left her immediately after birth. So, she was taken to a shelter a few years later. Primrose needed someone to love her just the way she was. She waited, but the miracle did not happen!

A married couple, Erin and Chris Austin from Braselton, Georgia, had a good family. They had their home and two charming children: what else to be happy?

But one day, the woman was scrolling through her Facebook feed and unexpectedly saw a photo of Primrose.

“When I saw the photo of the girl, I felt something flipping in me. Suddenly I knew: this is my girl…,” Erin later said. The Austins decided to adopt the girl.

A few months after the adoption process concluded, the girl was officially adopted into the family.

The family had to fly across the United States and China and go through all nine circles of bureaucratic hell to be able to adopt the girl.

After a year, the couple decided to share their feelings after the adoption: “We think there’s nothing wrong with her being blind.

When people find out she’s blind, they usually say, ‘I’m sorry,’ and I respond, ‘Why? She’s our girl, and we love her just the way she is,'” said adoptive father Chris.

But not everything went so smoothly. 8 months ago, Primrose started experiencing intense eye pain. She cried for 16 hours a day and refused to eat.

After tests, doctors stated that Primrose had increased pressure and detachment of the retina in one eye, and the other had halved.

The doctors made a difficult decision: to remove the girl’s eyes. It was hard for the parents to agree, but it was 100% correct.

Fortunately, the operation was successful. It was a miracle: two days after the operation, the girl smiled for the first time.

Primrose will have specially made prosthetic eyes. The most important thing is that she has a caring and supportive family!

We hope they help her heal quickly.
