A 28-year-old woman went through dramatic changes during pregnancy — and managed to restore her beauty after giving birth
In the photo is a 28-year-old woman who used to be known for her striking appearance. But during pregnancy she noticed her face transforming: swelling appeared, her skin became more sensitive, and her facial features grew more pronounced.
Many people around her were shocked at how much a future mother’s appearance could change. After her baby was born, her skin slowly began to recover, and she started to feel better. 😢
She admits that those 9 months were a real challenge. The physical changes came with discomfort and a lot of unwanted attention from others.
Now she is still in the process of healing and is truly happy to recognize her familiar reflection in the mirror again.

The 28-year-old Malaysian woman, Farah Faizal, expected pregnancy to bring joy and excitement. Instead, she watched her face becoming more unfamiliar day after day.
Her skin began changing rapidly: first mild redness and small breakouts, and later painful inflammations.
Her face looked swollen, deep lines appeared, and her features seemed much harsher. Even her nose and ears appeared larger than before. Many people who saw her while she was pregnant couldn’t believe she was the same woman from her earlier photos.
Doctors suggested she might be experiencing a rare form of rosacea — a severe inflammatory skin condition that can develop during pregnancy because of hormonal shifts.
She describes those nine months as “complete chaos”: physical pain, discomfort, constant stares from strangers, and a major impact on her confidence.
The only thing that kept her going was her husband’s support — he reminded her every day that she was still beautiful and strong.
After giving birth, her skin slowly began to return to normal: the inflammations eased, the redness faded. And although the healing process is still ongoing, Farah is finally seeing her real self in the mirror again.
