Canadian husband and wife Jason and Cayley are boat builders and carpenters.
What they achieved will surprise you. The couple saw one of 25 boats, called Pax, which was built in 1986 for an exhibition in Victoria.
Jason and Cayley decided to buy the old ship and restore it into a beautiful floating home.
They bought it for $6,000 and the renovation took a year and a half. To begin the restoration work, the couple towed it to a hangar.
The renovation work happened step by step. They decided to keep the windows and a few more details on the exterior.
The ingenious couple completely gutted the houseboat and renovated the wiring and plumbing.
The house that Jason and Cayley created is 3.65 meters wide and 9 meters long. It even had a terrace on its roof decorated with flower boxes.
From the top of the floating house, on the terrace, you can admire the splendid maritime view.
The old boat has been transformed into a wonderful, very bright house, as each room has several windows.
The floating house includes a living room and a magnificent bedroom on the second level where you can be very comfortable. It can be shown with the help of a beautiful staircase. And a ladder leads to the roof terrace.
On the first level there is a superb well-equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with every comfort.
The rooms are very comfortably furnished. And to maximize storage space, deep drawers have been integrated into the house.
Jason and Cayley lived in this fantastic house for a while. But they decided to sell it. Currently, Pax is on sale and you can buy it if you have $289,000.
