The young man explores the sea to find fossilized traces of living beings from the past. He is a twenty-year-old student studying at the medical school.

Aaron has a large collection of fossils which he found on the beaches of Whitby, Yorkshire.

But, among all these objects, there is something in the shape of a snitch that the young man values ​​the most. This object, which resembles a snitch, hides an ancient fossil inside.

The find is actually a rock covered with iron pyrite and called “fool’s gold”. It can make any material shine if it is polished.

According to Aaron, if you want to find something like this, you have to be patient and keep looking.

When the student found this piece that hid a fossil, he managed to open it and saw a fossilized spiral cephalopod creature.

The cephalopods of today are the octopus and the squid. The young man says his find could belong to the Lower Jurassic period.

So its age reaches 185 million years.

And, if you look hard, you can come across similar finds along the Yorkshire coast.
