Jennifer Aniston, known for her role as an enviable bride, has had a long-standing crush on her colleague on the set of “The Morning Show,” Jon Hamm.
As the producer of the show, Aniston even insisted that Hamm be invited to shoot the third season, giving her more opportunities to win his heart.
However, despite her efforts, things did not go according to plan as Hamm suddenly got engaged.
According to an insider, Hamm’s relationship with his fiancée, Anna Osceola, was well-known in Hollywood and had been for many years.
“It was one of Hollywood’s worst kept secrets for many years – long before Jen invited him to The Morning Show,” the insider told Heat World.
While Aniston is reportedly not entirely happy about the situation, she is trying to move on as quickly as possible and return to her duties on the show.
A friend of the actress has reported that “At least now, you don’t have to wonder what would have happened if she hadn’t tried.”
This is not the first time that Aniston has experienced disappointment in love.
The actress’s five-year marriage to Brad Pitt was infamously ended due to his involvement with Angelina Jolie.
Despite these setbacks, Aniston continues to be a beloved and respected figure in Hollywood.
