Raising a young child and following your career is not an easy thing at all. Many parents turn to babysitters.
Often, it is the grandparents who lend a hand to their children by taking care of their grandchildren.
But to take care of their grandsons, grandparents must be in good health and have the necessary energy.
In any case, it’s better to leave the little ones with their grandmas and grandpas than to call someone you don’t know.

Examining the issue, some experts find that grandmothers and grandfathers should be paid to care for their grandchildren, as should a babysitter.
A survey of 2,000 people of different ages found that 45 percent of respondents think grandparents should be paid and 29 percent say remuneration is mandatory if the engagement is permanent.
For 6 percent of people, salary should only be given for vacations. 34 percent of respondents found that grandparents should be compensated in another way for their services rendered.
And only, for 21 percent, in order to care for their grandchildren, grandparents should not receive any compensation.

According to economics professor at the New School for Social Research, Teresa Ghilarducci, by continually caring for their grandsons, grandparents can suffer physical and mental health problems.
That’s why they should be paid for this pleasant, but not easy, charge.
While some studies indicate that taking care of children is good for the health of grandfathers and grandmothers.
And what do the grandparents themselves think? The majority assure that they would never accept money to take care of their grandsons and that it is a very particular decision which depends on each person’s family.
And what do you think about this subject?
