Melissa Servetz worked as a teacher for several years. Married, she divorced after a miscarriage and lives alone.

She loved children, and in 2015 she began volunteering at a foster home that had 56 children, mostly infants and toddlers under five.

When two sisters, Jade and Destinee, were placed in foster care, the little girls melted the 45-year-old’s heart and she decided to adopt them.

Jade and Destinee were adopted together in 2017. Later, when their siblings arrived in the same home, the kind-hearted woman decided to adopt them as well so that the children would grow up together.

Matthew was adopted by the Servetts in 2019, while his brother Emerson was adopted in 2021. Melissa thus became the mother of Jade (8 years old), Destinee (6 years old), Matthew (4 years old) and Emerson (2 years old). ).
