It inspired novelists and filmmakers and characters from well-known works, such as James Bond, Hercule Poirot and others, were often seen in the compartments of this famous train.

The train cars are located in the small Dracy-Saint-Loup station in Burgundy which was built in 1882.

An American, called Greg Marshall, made his dream come true by rebuilding the train carriages into a chic hotel.

He called this marvel The Hotel of the Train of Dreams. The man also restored the station which welcomes people in a hotel-restaurant.

A sleeping car is made up of a few single cabins and also some double ones. The first cost 75 euros per night and the second 95 euros.

The compartments are completely renovated and well equipped in a modern way.

In each cabin there is a sink with hot and cold water.

All the reconstruction work is done with taste, as at the time. The old cabin restaurant has not been modified, but simply restored.

The decor and furniture remained the same. Marshall only renovated the interior of the station. He tried to keep the old style.

The restaurant room has hardly been changed. She has kept her prettiness from the 1930s.
