This simple trick keeps your toilet clean while I’m away — no scrubbing needed
Let’s be honest — scrubbing the toilet isn’t anyone’s idea of fun. 😩 But maintaining a clean toilet doesn’t have to be a tiresome task. 💡 Over time, I’ve discovered a few hassle-free techniques that deliver impressive results — and they rely on everyday items most of us already have in the cupboard. 👇

Here are three highly effective toilet-cleaning hacks that require minimal effort — and absolutely no vigorous scrubbing:
1. Citric Acid and Baking Soda Duo
Combine around 200 grams of citric acid with 100 grams of baking soda. Pour this bubbling mixture straight into the toilet bowl and let it sit for about 20 to 30 minutes.
A quick brush and flush afterward will leave the surface sparkling. This combo works particularly well on stubborn mineral deposits and rust stains.
2. Mild Citric Acid Soak
For a gentler clean, dissolve 60–70 grams of citric acid in a glass of warm water.
Pour the solution into the bowl and allow it to soak for several hours — or leave it overnight for best results. After a flush in the morning, you’ll notice a visibly cleaner bowl with barely any effort.
3. Deep-Clean Mix: Hydrogen Peroxide and Ammonia
For those persistent stains and hardened limescale, mix 100 ml of hydrogen peroxide with 50 ml of ammonia. Pour the solution into the bowl, close the lid, and leave it undisturbed for a few hours.
Then, give it a quick scrub and flush. This powerful blend tackles grime that other methods struggle to remove.
Using one of these methods every few days can keep your toilet looking freshly cleaned without needing a full scrub session each week.
