An Indian Man Has Been Living With a Silicone Doll That Looks Like His Late Wife: Here’s What It Looks Like
This man from India has made an unusual choice 😱 After losing his wife, 65-year-old Tapas Sandilya commissioned a silicone doll in her likeness. It cost him nearly $3,000 😲. The doll weighs about 30 kg and bears a striking resemblance to his late wife 😱. The widower even dressed it in her favorite sari 😲.
Just look at how realistic the doll appears 😱 Photos are in the first comment 👇👇
Tapas lives in the Indian state of West Bengal. He spent nearly 40 years by the side of his wife Indrani.
During the pandemic, when hospitals were overcrowded and lockdowns in place, Indrani fell ill and had to be hospitalized.
Due to strict restrictions, Tapas couldn’t be with her in her final moments. She passed away alone, and the pain of that loss has stayed with him.
As time passed, his grief became unbearable. He fondly remembered the day of their son’s wedding — Indrani was dressed in her favorite Assamese silk sari, smiling brightly.
Wanting to preserve that image forever, Tapas decided to have a lifelike silicone replica made. It took around six months to complete.
Once the doll was finished, he dressed it in that very sari and placed it on the swing inside their home — the same spot Indrani used to love resting in.
Now, he lives with her again. He talks to her, moves her around “so she doesn’t get bored”, and shares his life. Though she no longer breathes, to Tapas, she’s still his beloved Indrani.
