Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa in London decided to attract its guests with a new type of service, akin to yoga classes, but only … in the presence of lemurs, hence the name of the class – lemoga.
The location of the hotel next to a wild park allows for outdoor activities.
And during the session, people are surrounded by real lemurs living in the reserve. These animals are distinguished by a friendly and sociable character and are the best fit for yoga partners.
“The peaceful and relaxed behavior of lemurs is a great motivation for people and they want to spend more time in nature with animals,” says park manager Richard Robinson.
The hotel has a wellness program “Discover Nature,” and yoga classes are part of this program. In addition, hotel guests have the opportunity to walk with alpacas, chat with meerkats, animal rangers arrange special excursions.
The organizers of “Lemoga” are confident that in this way people are provided with a unique opportunity to become one with nature, which has an excellent effect on the nervous system and health in general.
What a genius idea this is! Being closer to nature is what the human of the 21st century needs most!
