The animal is 13 years old. In 2008, he was adopted by a couple from Chicago. The owners, Ted and Valerie, knew right away what to call the cat with an extra pair of ears.
A kitten was born 13 years ago, which was very unusual. He was born in a bar, the owner of which began to offer kittens to all visitors.
Yoda was very unusual and aroused everyone’s interest. All visitors wanted to see it as close as possible.
His new owners, when they saw that the kitten had 4 ears, did not hesitate for a minute, and decided to take the baby for themselves.
“We named him Yoda – he reminded us of a Star Wars character,” says Ted. He adds that the cat’s extra pair of ears is a result of a genetic mutation.
“Yoda is a healthy, vital cat. Extra ears are not attached to the skull, he hears normally,” the owners emphasize, adding that their pet is really obsessed with … bread. “Yoda is very fond of bread, especially when he wants to have a snack,” they say.
Today, the kitten is already an adult domestic cat. As for the owners, they love their pet very much.
And they are afraid that someone will want to steal their happiness. They even put a microchip on the cat, which allows you to accurately determine the location of your pet.
