There are many pets that are ready to take risks for their humans. We often hear stories of bold dogs that rescue their human parents. However, these wonderful creatures are also ready to help their species to survive.

Woodie is a greyhound that gave fantastic 22 donations during 6 years. Greyhounds are one of the few dogs that can be universal donors. A very small percent of dogs can become donors.

Every time Woodie did the kind step, he got joyful. His human said that the dog never was stressed during the blood donation process.

All in all, he has given 10,000 ml blood over 6 years. He has no health issues, on the contrary, the doggies become more energetic and positive by supporting other dogs.

The blood bank where the wonderful pup went for long years, names him a ‘superstar.’ Everybody there loves the dog for his willingness to become a donor!

Now, when Woodie is 9 years old, he is considered retired. It’s now impossible for him to give more blood.
