Wonderful story: homeless cat with a difficult fate found happiness in a new family

They say that meeting a black cat is bad luck.

But if you look at this situation from a different angle, you can find a good friend and a wonderful furry neighbor!

One such stray cat wandered alone on the streets of Chicago for a long time, after which he ended up in a shelter.

Of course, life in a shelter is better than in the realities of city life, but for another six months, the cat could not wait for its new owners.

One day he was lucky: a married couple visited the shelter, he jumped on his knees to the man and was not going to let go.

A cat named Mikita was found by a special organization that catches animals and helps them in life. He was so friendly to people that the staff knew this cat must be domesticated.

Another special organization took Mikita away and he became a participant in the adoption program. But for six months no one came for him – the cat was sad.

One day, Andrea and Rich Williams ended up at the shelter. The couple was about to take their pet home.

Mikita immediately fell in love with his future father Rich, climbed onto his lap, rubbed against his face and did not want to let go.

The couple immediately melted away. In the photos of their first meeting, you can see that Rich just could not help smiling.

Mikita waited a very long time, but finally, he found his happiness and left for a new home.

In his own home, he explored every corner and the owners say that without other cats, he became more open. His habit of sleeping on the owner’s lap has remained, so Mikita is a really lazy pet. Every day he enjoys his new home and loving owners.

Mikita, according to his new parents, has become truly tame. He is with his people all the time. After a hard day, he manages to give dad a back massage. He also talks a lot.

Constantly in the house, you can hear “meow” and endless “mrr.” Even the newly-made family watches TV only together: the cat settles down on the lap of its owners and enjoys the moment.

Yes, pets are happiness!
