One summer, a woman walked by an old house and saw a horrifying sight there: a whole group of dogs sat on a leash, exhausted from heat, thirst and hunger.
There was no food or water in their bowls, and the ropes did not allow them to move. It was obvious that the animals had not been here for the first day, and maybe not for the first week.
Who and why left innocent dogs to certain death?
Such a heartbreaking sight did not leave the woman’s head, and the next day she got into the car and drove to that place to rescue the animals from captivity, in which they were doomed to death.
She untied the dogs and put them in her car. And then a real miracle happened. One dog hugged the woman by the hand, touchingly looked into the eyes of its savior.
How much gratitude was in this look – not every animal knows how to be so grateful for the help!
This touching moment proves once again that dogs are the most loving and forgiving creatures on Earth. They often face cruelty, betrayal and indifference on the part of people, but they do not lose faith in goodness.
