Some people say that pets can often look like their owners, but Jenn Chavez has a pet that doesn’t look like her at all. She does, however, resemble someone else, namely Steve Buscemi.
Probably some mad physicians must have injected the cat mom with Mr. Buscemi’s genes while she was pregnant.
“In 2016 I lost my Estabon who was 12 years old. I realized that I wanted to take another cat after the loss. I went to a local shelter and simply walked around until I noticed Marla’s weird tiny muzzle peeking out of the cat cage.”
“I was a bit shocked by her appearance, but I had to know more,” the woman said.
“She was shy but very sweet, and the shelter staff took great care of her.”
“She was in the shelter for two years after she was left there at the age of two days. I was sure her little weird face would fit into our family,” Jen continued.
It was then that Jenn realized the resemblance.
“Shelter staff told me they were comparing Marla to Steve Buscemi, and I thought it was hilarious.”
After entering her new house, Marla immediately fell in love with the owners.
Jenn hopes her unique Marla can encourage people to adopt animals from local shelters, especially those that have been there the longest or may not be the cutest.
