Three bobcats chilling on the frozen river: exceptional footage captured on drone

Shooting great moments is the main task of any photographer or operator. Yet, it gets harder when they work with wild creatures where one should be in right place at the right time!

This is one of those ‘once in a lifetime moments’ where a lucky photographer suddenly meets three bobcats with his drone.

Initially, Mike Mayou managed to make a dramatic video of the frozen St. Louis River, capturing the scene with his drone on December 16th.

Unexpectedly, he caught three bobcats on his camera.

Bobcats are solitary recluse animals and it’s almost impossible to spot them. They are too cautious and elusive.

But this man was fortunate enough to capture the incredible view! Three buddies were resting on the frozen river when suddenly a drone appeared in front of them.

But they were quite relaxed in front of the drone, in contrast with other animals that fear or feel uncomfortable.

As Mike describes, it was a magical moment he didn’t want to end. He was so nervous and did his best not to lose a moment with these miraculous cats!

Soon he posted the footage on social sites, and the video immediately went viral! Everybody was impressed with the footage!

However, the man didn’t reveal the location he was filming to keep the animals safe.
