This dog was once found on the street, where it had been wandering for several years in search of food and a warm overnight stay. The stray was assigned to one of the shelters in the state of Georgia. The workers gave him the name Bandit and a new life began.
During his life in the orphanage, Bandit got stronger, gained strength. After a while, the dog was taken to a local prison, where a special program for prisoners was practiced.
They were given the opportunity to take care of the animals, which thus avoided euthanasia. He became a favorite among the prisoners and enjoyed universal attention.
However, he was not destined to spend much time in prison. The dog began to have serious problems with the musculoskeletal system and when the hind legs completely failed, he was forced to move with the help of a special wheelchair and returned to the shelter.
The shelter employees did not give up and continued to look for owners for Bandit. Four times he was taken to his family and after a while returned. It was not easy for people to find the right approach to such a special dog.
It seemed that he was no longer destined to get a house and good owners, and when the last hopes had collapsed, a married couple turned to the orphanage.
As soon as Sue and Darell Ryder read the Bandit’s story on the Internet, they immediately realized that it was their dog.
Darell himself has been confined to a wheelchair for several years and therefore his family, like no one else, understands what Bandit needs for a comfortable life.
