When the house pets pass away unexpectedly, it’s always heartbreaking. The only thing you can do is to remember the best days with your dog.
Wrangler was only 6 years old when he passed away. The sad news of his death touched many people around the US because at his young age Wrangler was the hero of the “Puppy With a Purpose” on NBC’s Today.
It turned out that the reason for his early death was liver disease.
Wrangler’s original handler wrote an Instagram post, noting that in his short period of time the Lab did more than most humans. He was a service dog, then he worked as a guide dog, and finally, he protected all of us working in the police K9 department.
Wrangler grew up in front of thousands of people. He was only 8 months when started starring For NBC Today. He appeared on 288 episodes of the show.
It was difficult to realize that in 2016 he said goodbye to all of us.
Rest in peace, Wrangler. You died young but your dedicated personality will long stay a bright example for many of us!
