So in an image, the hawk dad can stick his claws into another bird’s back or body to protect his young.

Once, a photographer, named Phoo Chan, managed to capture a series of action pics at Torrey Pines, California.

The peregrine hawk is the briskest bird on Earth, accelerating its speed over 200 mph while wandering for food.

So, Phoo was the luckiest young man that day to capture the historical moment.

He was only 100 feet away, and hardly could blink an eye, when secondly the case happened.

Luckily, he managed to get the photos, due to his Sony A1 cam and a Sony FE 600 mm lens.

The water pelican got confused and frightened, flying away with its hurt feathers.

Despite its size differences, pelican is also the world’s slow-going water bird.

Actually, they feed their families with another birds’ eggs and chicks, and are a severe trouble for the hawks.

So, looking at the pictures, you can see, that the guardian dad rushes to protect his chicks from being attacked at that moment.

For the giant pelican merely  approached the hawk’s nest, it’s the right moment to put up a fight.
