Dogs are the most faithful companions to us. They are so intelligent and dedicated that some of them are trained as service dogs.
These creatures are not just giving emotional help to people in need but they can physically serve their humans. And that’s invaluable work they do!
A dog served her owner during the years she studied at the Clarkson University, North Carolina. At the graduation ceremony he received his own degree.
Brittany uses wheelchair, and she suffers from sickness that is called complex regional pain syndrome. Her health situation was corresponding to be accompanied by a service dog for her education.
When she received the dog thanks to a special program, she immediately knew that the Griffin is her dog. All the other dogs were scared to approach Brittany because of the wheelchair.
It was Griffin who instantly jumped into her lap and since then has never left Brittany alone.
Griffin was in time! In that period Brittany just started attending a university. Her new friend always helped her in opening and closing classroom doors, fetching supplies, etc.
Brittany admits that thanks to her affectionate dog, she became more sociable and independent.
In 2018, the girl was already graduating the university of course with Griffin. And she wanted her dog to also receive a degree.
Fortunately, the university agreed giving the dog his own honorary degree for “extraordinary contributions to student success.”
Now Brittany can’t imagine her life without this wonderful dog. She is looking for a job. She can’t wait to take Griffin to her workplace!
