In early October, Rose, an animal activist, found a small stray kitten.
The baby needed medical attention, and the girl took him to the veterinarians. Those miraculously managed to save him.
Rose named the kitten Opie and took it to her. She was worried about how her pet cat Andy, whom the girl also saved many years ago, would react to the new pet. As soon as Andy heard Opie’s plaintive meow, he immediately ran to him.
What happened next will make even the hardest person in the world feel touched. Andy hugged the frightened kitten with his paws and began to care for him as if he wanted to console and calm him.
Andy was able to surprise his owner. He showed real concern for the new family member.
The next morning, Rose woke up from meowing of two voices – the befriended animals demanded their portion of love and attention. For the next two weeks, Rose got up every night to feed the baby.
After that, Opie would climb onto her chest every time and fall asleep, purring sweetly.
Meanwhile, Andy was always there for the baby and every night he helped his human mother. Now he and his furry younger brother are inseparable.
6 weeks have passed since that moment. The little kitten has acquired a real family. The pets became even stronger friends. Here is what Rose herself says about it: “Andy is in awe of Opie and always protects him. I am very lucky with my boys. They are very happy!”
