In the world of birds, it’s impossible to get bored. They are abundant in colors and luxurious in appearance. Every time I am amazed to see how different and beautiful that can be. It seems mankind learn how to combine colors by the example of birds.
This scarlet-backed flowerpecker is a small bird of wonderful beauty. It had a navy blue plumage and a vivid red streak drawing from its head to tail. It seems that somebody painted a draw on their one side.
That scarlet streak is what makes them outstanding in beauty.
Females have green plumage with a black tail. Both males and females have a unique red streak on them.
There are so tiny that weigh all in all 7-8 grams. They inhabit the rainforests of South East Asia.
Sometimes they are seen in flower and fruit gardens. These amazing birds eat figs and fruit.
Females build a nest after only finding males.
It’s so sad that we don’t notice these wonderful creatures of nature. They are worthy of our attention and care.
These creatures are not endangered and we hope that numerous generations of these flowerpeckers will continue living in tropical areas.
